From India’s looms to a home in Bengaluru

Raghavendra Sarees is a family business, run from our home in Bengaluru. We choose every design ourselves and write each price on the tag with all taxes included, so the price you see is the price you pay.

The collection draws on India’s weaving traditions, alongside easy cottons and georgettes for everyday wear.

Ilkal: Ilkal sarees take their name from the weaving town of Ilkal in north Karnataka. They are known for their distinctive pallu, traditionally joined to the body of the saree with an interlocking technique called kondi.
Jamdani: Jamdani is a weaving tradition from Bengal. The motifs are woven into the cloth on the loom rather than printed or embroidered, so the patterns seem to float on the fabric.
Gajji: Gajji (or gaji) silk is a dense, lustrous silk associated with Gujarat, with a satin-like sheen. It is often used as the base for bandhani.
